A Beach Wedding with a Free Ceremony in the Maldives
As a photographer, this was an absolute dream come true—one I never even dared to imagine. But then, in the cold German January, it finally happened! With my bags packed, I set off for a breathtaking beach wedding in the sun and warmth of the Maldives.
My amazing couple had envisioned a truly intimate ceremony—just the two of them, along with their parents. The free wedding ceremony took place on the beach at sunset, and I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful setting.
Hanna & Fred wrote their own vows for their Maldives beach wedding, and as you can guess (or see in the photos), there wasn’t a dry eye. Since I was lucky enough to spend several days on the island with them, we also captured some incredible couple shoots—whether in the water at sunrise, under the stars at night, or in the jungle during the day.
