Elopement auf Mallorca

What an Adventure: Elopement in Mallorca

Leo and Max had originally planned everything quite differently. After their civil wedding in Germany in 2021, they envisioned a free ceremony with an intimate celebration for 2022—just their closest loved ones and, of course, a wild party. But thanks to COVID, those plans were put on hold.

Still, they refused to be discouraged and wanted to celebrate their love. To make the most of a challenging time, they decided to renew their vows in Mallorca and enjoy an intimate after-wedding shoot—just the two of them.

I’m beyond grateful that I got to accompany them on this incredible elopement in Mallorca, together with my amazing team (Julia from Fotoverliebt, Timo from ING Films & myself). Given the circumstances, we couldn’t resist making this moment extra special for them. We didn’t just capture their love story—we also helped with parts of the planning. Leo and Max were deeply grateful and finally got to celebrate their love in a way that wouldn’t have been possible elsewhere during the pandemic. Special times call for special efforts, and we gave it our all to make these two soulmates happy.

Personal Vows in a Secluded Bay

The elopement ceremony took place in the morning in a breathtaking bay. Staying true to their “surf-wedding” theme, they stood in front of a cool surfboard altar, reading their vows to each other. Not a single soul around—just the two of them, fully present in the moment.

After-Wedding Shoot in the Mountains

In the afternoon, they had a second getting ready, this time for an unforgettable dinner setup. After all, no Mallorca elopement would be complete without a romantic evening in the mountains. First, we had a stunning after-wedding shoot, followed by a cozy, intimate dinner—delicious cake, olives, wine, and so much more. The view of the ocean was absolutely magical.

Leo and Max were overwhelmed by the beauty of nature and savored every second. The photos speak for themselves, and Timo’s incredible film truly makes you feel like you were right there with us—goosebumps guaranteed!

We want to go back!!! So, so beautiful, Sarah—THANK YOU!

Make sure to watch Timo’s touching film first! You’ll find my photos below.
