Getting Married on Amrum. On the Lighthouse. Just the Two of Them.
But it’s May 2020 – and due to COVID-19, entry to the island is prohibited! Luckily, with a special permit, the couple – and thankfully, I as their photographer – were allowed to travel to Amrum for their dream lighthouse wedding. It was a stressful process, but absolutely worth it, as this amazing couple got to experience their perfect day.
The evening before, we had a relaxed couple’s shoot in the dunes, and the next day, their civil wedding ceremony took place at the lighthouse. What an unforgettable experience! The view over the dunes, the wind in Kathi’s red hair, and even the sun made an appearance.
